Rewilding Drumlins

Drumlins are significant glacial topographic features in my area and as such they have become prime sites for building. Situated in 2050, “Rewilding Drumlins” imagines a time when the developers’ collective boot print is finally lifted off this gift of the glaciers. Habitats restored. This is the world I wish to inhabit.

Merino roving, silk habotai, recycled felt pieces, Kozo paper, tussah silk roving; Wet & nuno felting, embroidery, rust printing, natural dying, hand molding of topography.

Erlenmeyer Imposter – Lichen

The Erlenmeyer Imposter felted lab flasks are remakes of the lab workhorse invented by a man. My view is that we women of science deserve bold, unbreakable flasks full of life that represent our resilience, tenacity and ingenuity.

Merino wool roving and prefelt, Kozo paper, silk tussah roving, silk georgette; Wet felting, nuno felting.
