Being in lockdown, I, like many others, have re-connected with nature.

Cornish Coastline
Materials and Techniques:
Wet felted merino with mixed fibres and silk threads. Finished with two slate stones attached by thread, and additional green thread & yarn

I love the dramatic coastline of Cornwall, a favourite holiday destination. I’m really looking forward to being able to re-connect with this incredible coastline.

Tidal Stream

Merino & Shetland fibres blended and then wet felted

Inspiration / how this work links to the exhibition's theme
Living by the coast, I am continually inspired by the ever changing nature of the sea. Streams are formed on the sand as the tide goes out and are then re-connected with the sea when it comes back in.
