Nunofelted with merino wool, yarns and silk, machine and hand embroidery. 

In early November, a beautiful Northern Flicker appeared in our backyard. Somehow, she managed to eat seeds and suet, even with a gibbled beak. I have tried to capture her comforting presence in nunofelt and stitch as she sat on a branch outside my window in the winter sun.
