Starvation Mountain

From my front window, this is my view of the distinctive mountain, Starvation. It’s name relates back to the Mexican war with the Californios and the starvation experienced by the Americanos as they marched across the desert to San Diego.

Wet felted with merino and silk fusion, silk accents.
