Title: Crowning Glory

Materials and Techniques: Materials used include a variety of natural fibres, snippets of natural and synthetic fabrics, paint, beads, wire and a metal hand band. Techniques used include wet felting, Nuno felting, cutting, painting, hand sewing, beading and wiring. The three individual pieces that form this Fascinator have been securely and invisibly stitched together by hand. 

Inspiration: The theme of this exhibition was the spark that led to me thinking about how I could “connect” pieces of existing work to create something entirely different and unique. This wet felted Fascinator was constructed by connecting three individual projects. The wider section at the base was originally a necklace, the mid section was a matching bangle and the top section was a splash
