Paper and Felt, Posca Pens, FMQ (Free Motion Quilting), Using resists, fan-like pre-felt shapes with Kozo paper were formed and felted onto a 19 micron wool base. FMQ circles were sewn onto organza and then free motioned stitched onto each piece. Posca pen markers were added to replicate the markings seen on fungi.

Intrigued with the symbiotic relationship between plant and fungi, this was the inspiration for my piece.
