Title: Knock-on Effect

Materials and Techniques: Wet-felted wall art in merino (60x42cm/23x16.5”) Techniques include resist work, inclusion of mixed fibre pre-felts, silk nuno felting and hand-rolled vines (many thanks for Fiona Duthie for her immaculate tuition on the technique)

Inspiration: This piece reflects my feelings about the connection between the land and urbanisation. 

Where nature attempts to co-exist with our buildings, it often grows around and frames our precious views as we look at them through our windows and doors.

But as our land is increasingly considered in terms of real estate, what will the view from our bigger and better houses be?
