Fog Forest Lichen.

Silk, leather; felted.

Fog forests hide within coastal pine forests on the granite coast of northern Maine (USA). Heavy, thick mosses cling to granite boulders and soft, tree root-veined earth. One fog forest surveyed has 80 species of lichen, 8 of them rare. Cup lichen nestle among other lichen structures.
