This book is in two parts and spotlights two media; felt making and embellishing with ribbon embroidery and stitching. The first part covers the rudiments of felting, working with prefelts, nuno and resists. The resulting projects form the form the foundation or canvas for the silk ribbon embroidery . The author presents a number of small to medium sized projects including bracelets, handbags and a scarf. Book is beautifully photographed and stitching instructions are very clearly shown. While ribbons for each project can be purchased online from the author you are encouraged to use ribbons of your own choosing.
