It’s always tricky to talk about one’s work, and how best to convey that constant inner chit-chat of thoughts and perceptions. For some time, I had been wanting to capture the behind-the-scene of my practice into a short film. I felt so lucky to be able to collaborate with the hugely talented photographer and film maker Sarah Mason – with her easy approach, sensitive listening and artistry, she was able to capture the recurring themes central to my practice: colour, light, layering, movement, water and repetition.
