Felted Fleece

Ann Ross

Thursday, 19th April 2012

photo: Ann RossHave you ever been offered a raw fleece and not known what to do with it? Perhaps you have not been able to face the thought of cleaning it before you can have something usable to felt with? This workshop will teach you how to clean and felt a fleece at the same time and produce a new item of stylish interior décor for your home.

Ann has successfully made felted rugs using Jacobs, Cotswold, Shetland, Hebridean, Angora Goat, Herdwick and even Black Face. You may felt a whole fleece for a rug or just part of one for a chair cushion.

Since the felting is done with the fleece in its raw state, we will be working outside so come prepared for wet weather!
