On the Map was a two-year touring exhibition of selected work by members of the International Feltmakers Association celebrating wool from many regions throughout the world. The exhibition brief challenged members to use locally produced wool in their works and in doing so create an awareness of the many sheep breeds and the potential their wool has for the feltmaker.

Funded by the Crafts Council and Westmorland Arts, New Directions was the IFA's touring exhibition for 2000 & 2001. There are b&w and colour photographs of the selected exhibits which were from many countries.
