Other Workshops.

Pitminster, Somerset: feltmaking workshops with Eleanor Burgess. March 3rd: Slippers. April 7th: Basics: bangles, noodles, buttons, beads, flat bits and flowers. May 5th: Dye Day, Rainbows using acid
fixed dyes. June 2nd: Bags, Berets and Basques. Workshops cost £15, materials extra. They will all be held in Pitminster Old School Hall from 10 to 3. Eleanor can be contacted at perfectbee@btinternet.com

For Fingers and a Thumb IFA exhibition at Swansea University, March 9th - 30th.

Conference and AGM in Swansea: 29 March to 1 April 2007. Full 4-day programme includes workshops with Clare Diprose, Liz Clay, Birgitte Krag-Hansen and May Jacobsen Hvistendahl, shopping for wool and other delights, "For Fingers and a Thumb" exhibition, a competition, and much more. Bath Textile Artists "On the Green" at Wells Museum, Cathedral Green, Somerset. 19 May - 2 June. 10-5.30 Mon-Sat, 11-4 Sunday. Includes felts by Clare Diprose, Paula Widdicombe and Ama Bolton.

Peat Moors Centre, Westhay, Somerset. Sunday 27 May OPEN DAY FREE ADMISSION! An entertaining and educational day for all the family, with plenty of activities for kids of all ages, guided walks, demonstrations and an opportunity to meet staff and volunteers from a range of conservation, environmental and heritage organisations. Sheep-shearing. Opportunity to buy Shetland fleeces. Feltmaking
demonstration by Ama Bolton.

Contemporary Craft Fair, Bovey Tracey, Devon.  8th -10th June. Includes felt by Liz Clay.

Springhead Festival of Creative Arts, Fontmell Magna, Dorset. 16th and 17th June, 1-5pm. Theme "Our Global Village". Includes felt work made by schoolchildren with Liz Clay.

Frome Festival, Somerset. 6th - 15th July. Felts by Ama Bolton in The Blue House and garden.

Glastonbury Rural Life Museum: "On the Surface" felts and other textile and book works by Clare Diprose, Jane Paterson, Kate Hickmott, Maggie Stewart and Ama Bolton. 28th July - 9th September. Closed Mondays.
