Liz (IFA Chair) has read this and has added a discussion item for the next committee meeting - watch this space.

I have just read this thread - I obtained the logo I used on my website from someone else's personal website not from this website - but will now remove. Unfortunately the set up from my web pages is such that text links aren't very effective - can you suggest another image that I could use instead?
All I am trying to achieve is to promote your website and felting in general - I am not a professional felter. Even though I earn my living from textile crafts I am totally new to this subject and just want to encourage others to find you.
Best wishes

Hello Nicky
I'd just like to reiterate that the IFA logo is for official IFA use only. However, we would be delighted if you would like to add a text link on your site to www.feltmakers.com, where a reciprocal link can be posted to your own site.
This reciprocal arrangement is open to all IFA members.
Regards

Hi Sue,
Thanks for the reply. I was expecting you to say that - it's why I wanted to check. And it makes total sense. Hope you didn't mind me asking.
See you in April for Frilly scarves,
Kind regards

Hi Nicola
The IFA logo is only used for 'official' business such as representing the association at the various shows like the Knitting and Stitching, Woolfest etc. We also use it for exhibitions such as the Climate is Changing which is now on at the North Light Gallery in Huddersfield. You can always say you are a member of the IFA but without the logo.
All the best

I am in the process of setting up a website. I would like to include the IFA logo on the home page with a hyperlink to this site but was wondering if this is allowed? I can send a copy of the website for approval if necessary?
Please could you let me know?
Many thanks
Nicky |
