Wool Art Festival - France

WANTED: exchanges and partnerships with various countries in Europe and in particular with textile art schools to promote the younger generation of artists and promote the rebuilding in the treatment of wool.

Applications for 2008 are closed but this is an anual Festival and the site is worth a visit.

 
Felt in the Home - France
Fleeces of the major breeds in the Creuse region: Texel, Limousine and Charolais are currently being collected to be washed carded and supplied to competition participants for Spring 2009. The project is coordinated byt eh Agricultural Board, Tourist Agency and French Reseau of Feltmakers.
